The cabin I stayed in had big, hand-cut timbers. Sitting by the large slate fireplace while sipping tea was like wrapping up in a cozy blanket on a chilly evening.
More accessibility features would be appreciated.

The staff was very attentive. The breakfast was well prepared, and the service was very professional and personal. My room was cozy and clean and quiet.
If I were to make any adjustments in the room, I would build a very slim, maybe 4-6" shelf along the wall by the bed, just to put my phone, glasses, water bottle and book handy. There wasn't any place to put those items without getting out of bed. The electrical outlets by the bed were also too big to hold my phone charger - the prongs wouldn't stay in.

Couple's Ideal Retreat
This place impressed me right from the start with the warm welcome from the staff. They even got us canoes to paddle around the lake early in the morning, the views were amazing, like something out of a dream.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but you know what they say, you get what you pay for.

Would definitely recommend for a day tour
Cozy cabin, beautiful lakeside view, with spacious accommodations that features a tv and a bar/lounge area where we enjoyed relaxing evenings after a day of hiking in the picturesque surroundings.
Everything was spot-on.

We stayed in the Beautiful King Suite for one night, and it was super clean and surprisingly spacious! The bathroom was big and had a separate vanity area, nice. The bed was really comfortable, and I appreciated the modern touches in a cozy cabin vibe. I also loved that they had a nice breakfast in the morning! I only wish we had more time to enjoy the fine lake views.

I wanted to get away from work for two or three days so I decided to drive down to Seward. Staying at the Summit Lake Lodge was like a breath of fresh air. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. I didn't think I would like not having a TV in the room, but instead I enjoyed the stay more without one. I plan on returning in a couple of weeks for another getaway.

Loved the area, lake and quietness of the area. Breakfast was great!
Disappointed that the lodge rooms didn't have tv's but room was nice. Electrical outlets hard to use, as plugs didn't fit in them tightly.

The cozy cabin featured beautiful high-end decorating finishes, and the spacious bathrooms were well-appointed with separate vanity areas. The fine views of the lake and Chugach mountains provided a serene escape.
More accessibility features could enhance the stay.

It is in a lovely setting and the rooms were very clean. The proximity to Seward is an advantage and we found it to be a welcome stop on our trip from Wasilla.
No television and no internet in the room. The breakfast included with the room was not very good, though the host was very friendly. Also no hair dryers or personal products, such as shampoo, were supplied. These are generally available at any lodging facility. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and found the service to be very good and the menu more than adequate. We especially enjoyed the appetizer, an artichoke parmesan dip, and the halibut on my salad was delicious and perfectly prepared. The vegetables in the salad were bland and unappetizing, though. The cheeseburger was fine.

Rooms were beautifully decorated to compliment the setting. Restaurant and staff were excellent.
For the price, rooms should have TV's.
